Colonies Zone LCM Meet
August 23-24, 2008, University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland

Richard (Dick) Scott recently participated in the long course meters Colonies Zone swim meet, sponsored by Terrapin Masters. He garnered a first in the 200-meter breast stroke, second places in both the 200-meter individual medley and 50-meter breast stroke, third in the 100-meter breast stroke, and fourth in the 50-meter butterfly.

Scott also swam four first-place relays as part of the Virginia Masters association team, which won the meet with an overall score of 1164 combined points. There were 47 other teams in competition. As part of the Northern Neck Family YMCA Striper swim team, Scott practices at the pool in Kilmarnock.
