The Stream Line

Picture yourself as an arrow shooting through the water with nothing but long straight lines. Whoosh!

This is the form, and mental image, to efficiently zoom off the wall on turns, or after water entry on starts.

To make like the arrow, put your hands one on top of other. Some say, "wrist over wrist." Fingers should be straight and horizontal to water surface. Arms are extended with biceps close to head, and elbows almost locked.

Head should be in alignment with horizontal.. Butt should be tightened, legs should be long and extended. Feet are together and toes pointed. You can also mentally stretch out. You know how you do it when the doctor’s office measures your height? Just lengthen your spine and think taller.
