VMST Gregg Meet

Dick Scott and Esther Platsis

Four members of the Northern Neck Family YMCA masters swim team, the Stripers, participated in the David Gregg III Memorial Swim meet on February 13 and 14.  Held at the NOVA of Virginia Aquatics Center in Richmond , the meet included more than 130 swimmers ages 18 – 97.  It was sponsored by Virginia Masters Swim Team.

Richard (Dick) Scott, Andrea Latell, Esther Platsis and coach, Kathryn Gregory, garnered a total of 17 first places, three seconds, one third, and one fifth. Platsis swam seven personal record times. Scott finished first in all of his seven events.
